In depth

Verdict

Irish raider ASIA TO CUBA is progressing nicely and produced easily his best run to date when just failing to peg back Afram Blue over 2m4f at Down Royal. The longer trip is in his favour and he can record his first success. Call Me Bill has been a beaten favourite in his last three starts including when odds-on at Southwell last time. He should find a race soon though he's looking a few pounds high in the weights. Another challenger from Ireland, Fitzgutentyte, is still a maiden after 15 starts and her best form has been between the flags and though Humourous did better than expected at Hexham last time he's 5lb out of the handicap and has a strike-rate of 1-42 over hurdles.
