In depth

Verdict

Irish bumper form is generally stronger than that in the UK so BOOK'EM DANNO's close third behind Peak Oil at Kilbeggan may be good enough. Forever My Friend produced a fine debut run at Aintree and was an odds-on chance at Stratford last month but again found one too good. He should find a race soon as should Kanturk, a close second to Sir Johnson here last week. It was very heavy ground when In Close made a winning debut at Limerick in December 2009 and he was well beaten on his only subsequent start at Hereford last March.
