Verdict
Clever As A Fox made an immediate impact with Richard Newland when making a winning debut over timber in a Worcester maiden. There will be more to come but YOUNG WOLF won a handicap at Ludlow before coming up against a decent novice at Cartmel. His overall form looks quite strong and Jonjo O’Neill’s six-year-old should handle the drop back in trip on this galloping track. Sunset Showdown definitely has the past form to figure but he’s been a beaten favourite the last twice and a return to chasing may be on the cards in the near future.
