Verdict
The market is likely to be the best guide to the chances of the six unraced runners facing the start in this bumper. As a three-year-old, Gevrey Chambertin gets a hefty weight-for-age allowance and it's fair to assume that this 150,000euro gelding will have some ability being a half-brother to the top-class Grands Crus. He is worth noting but the Sadler's Wells gelding ROAD SHOW has a decent Flat pedigree and may just have too much speed for him on this occasion. Tim Vaughan's pair Cavalier Spirit and Silky Bob looks the pick of the remainder.
