Verdict

Bumper winner FIRESTREAM took a further step forward when fitted with a tongue-tie and winning easily at Chepstow on his hurdling bow. He’s preferred to the other penalised winners on that form. Rath Gaul Hill also made a winning start over timber when successful over a shorter trip here while Spring Meadow scored over track and trip before disappointing at Warwick. Gunnery Officer had the excuse of unsuitable fast going at Ascot last time while jockey bookings suggest Propelled is preferred to stablemates and point-to-point winners Ballyhigh and The Brew Master.
