Verdict

The 2019 Triumph Hurdle winner Pentland Hills was awarded a walkover before making his actual chasing debut in last month’s Arkle Trial at Cheltenham. A couple of mistakes put paid to his chances and dual bumper winner BOWTOGREATNESS just missed out at Exeter on his chasing bow and gets the vote with Ben Pauling’s yard in good form. Farne and First Lord De Cuet have both placed over fences while Complete Unknown is a Grade 3 winner over hurdles and makes more appeal than Jay Jay Reilly as both debut over the larger obstacles.
