        Verdict

        ANCHISES was placed at Newmarket behind stablemate and favourite Red Starlight, rated 87, on last month’s debut outing. Richard Hannon’s colt should have the measure of these on that form and is preferred to Lingfield runner-up Carricklane, who steps up in distance, as does the latter’s stable companion Hellovaqueen. Greaves is going backwards but the newcomer Montshi may prove a bigger threat as the first foal of a Listed winner
