        Verdict

        The frustrating Ellen Gates finished runner-up yet again over 6f at Goodwood last time and patience has ran out with her. Molly Jones has been in winning form at Chepstow and has the beating of Rio Santos on last month’s running when SILENTLY was also beaten a couple of lengths. But that was the latter’s first start since August and a chance is taken on Daniel Kubler’s mare re-opposing on better terms today. Compton Abbey’s earlier success at Kempton came over 6f and Brockey Rise also drops back down to the minimum trip.
