Grey Diamond may well have followed up his Chepstow victory at Newton Abbot had he not fallen but is possibly up against a couple with a bit more scope in this. Dual bumper winner Now Look At Me made a winning start over timber at Uttoxeter but wasn’t overly impressive. BALLYCAINES will need to improve on his two runs so far at Wincanton but is only four so that can almost be taken for granted and his yard has a terrific strike-rate on this course. Flat winner West Coast Flyer showed promise on his hurdling bow at Kempton and will know more today.
