A tricky handicap in which several appear to hold leading claims. David Evans saddles both Norville, who is back in a handicap for the first time since scoring at Windsor in June, as well as course winner Star Rover. Colonel Mak is potentially well handicapped and wasn't disgraced in the Great St Wilfrid at Ripon last time, while both Piazza San Pietro and Secret Witness would go close if returning to their best. Recent winners Mirza and Yellow Dandy may find this too tough, however, while Remotelinx is proving disappointing so this can go to ZERO MONEY. He is 6lb higher than when scoring at Newmarket but has improved again this year and may still be a step ahead of the assessor.
