In depth

Verdict

Equus Dancer won easily again at Sedgefield at the start of the week and goes for the hat-trick here under a penalty. However, he’s not really proven on ground this soft and James Bowen rides stablemate Francky Du Berlais, who has finished second twice since winning at Newton Abbot in September. Sean Bowen partners COURT DUTY for John Flint and his mount breezed clear here three weeks ago when another course winner, Mouseinthehouse, was beaten 12 lengths in third. Le Coeur Net loves the mud and arrives off the back of a win at Plumpton so can’t be ruled out but Some Can Dance has something to prove at present.
