        Verdict

        My Lady Valentine,Silver Rocket and Baytown Lulu are three against the field in this woeful seller and the tentative vote is given to Silver Rocket. The selection was a fair fourth behind Par Xcellance last time out. That sets the standard in the context of this race and with the return to turf looking to be in his favour he will be hard to beat. MY Lady Valentine rates the main danger on her best form but she was very disappointing behind Gamesters Lady last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Baytown Lulu is another worthy of respect on her latest fourth behind First Byte but she has given the impression she would be suited by a longer trip and for that reason is opposed. Of the remainder Noble Edge showed improved form to be second behind Wizby last time and is from a shrewd yard so should be noted in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Silver Rocket.
