In depth

Verdict

Plenty of horses take part with recent point-to-point form including Just Lark, Runningwiththemoon, Tricky Trevor and Millenium Way with the vote going to the last named. Millenium Way has been in tremendous form on the southern pointing circuit. His form under rules is nothing to write home about but he landed his hat-trick of wins between the flags sixteen days ago and deserves his chance to win some proper prize money today. Tricky Trevor has been in the same kind of form landing his hat-trick two weeks ago. His last run under rules was a fair third in a Hunter Chase at Huntingdon last May and a repeat performance could see him go close. Runningwiththemoon took his time to warm up this season but has looked good in his last two point races so is one to note in the market. As is Just Lark who boasts similar form between the flags but it remains to be seen how he will cope with the larger obstacles. So for the winner we return to Millenium Way.
