In depth
Verdict
A strong field contest but can be sort listed down to No Reward, Bell Rock, Blakes Road and Mister Pearly with the vote going to the last named. Mister Pearly has seemed to come of age this season in points finishing no worse than second in his last three races. His form last year under rules is not impressive but nor is his oppositions so is a tentative selection. No Reward will be the likely favourite but his form looks no better. He did manage to finish a distant fourth on his only run under rules last season at this meeting but does not look the value bet. Bell Rock has bits and bobs of form and is one to note in the market as is Blakes Road who won nicely between the flags last time out. But for the winner we return to Mister Pearly.
