Verdict
A poor field with only three runners namely Little Farmer, Hot Toddy and Greenwich with the vote going to the last named. Greenwich has been a good servant to the Scudamore family winning many races between the flags and scored in a Hunter Chase at Plumpton last May as well. He did win a point this season and was not totally discredited last time out when finishing fourth at Ludlow. But for a bad mistake at a vital stage he would have been closer and is worth considering again today. Little Farmer has no real worth while form under rules but has been getting placed between the flags this season but more is needed here. Hot Toddy has jumping problems and looks one to avoid. So for the winner we return to Greenwich.
