Verdict
Not much to go on here and the betting market will be the best guide as to what to expect from the newcomers at this stage. However, a chance is taken with Goldamie, who is only a hopeful choice to get off the mark at the second time of asking. The selection ran a fair race in defeat on his debut at Huntingdon on Boxing Day and should be a lot wiser as to what is required this time around. Of the rest: Kiwi Babe obviously has to be respected and will no doubt come in for plenty of support as she hails from a yard that do very well with horses of her type. But she is unlikely to represent the best value on offer and is opposed solely for that reason. Freydis and Kimmeridge Bay are others to monitor in the betting and should be noted in running for next time. However, in what in trust is a minefield for punters, Goldamie is selected as the value bet to round off the meeting with a winner.
