Verdict
By no means a hot race here and NARLEN is the suggestion to get the better of Anna Panna. The selection showed plenty of improvement on his second outing over fences when five lengths second here in a novices' handicap chase last month, with the going description the same as today's. Although nothing special, he kept going for Andrew Thornton and now that he has had three runs following a decent break he should be spot on. Anna Panna has a penchant for cut in the ground and this sort of trip. If she could run up to her best hurdling form on this, her chasing debut, she would have a decent chance. She is sure to have been well schooled and is much respected. Debord is another having a first run over fences and he will see out every yard of this trip. Recent form from both he and the yard has not been inspirational and we will pass him up today. Wasntme has shown bits of ability in four chases thus far and likes to get his toe in, so he is not ruled out, but Riccardo has been on the slide for quite some time and can't be fancied. Narlen is the pick.
