Provided Saturday's exhertions have not taxed him too much, IWILLREMEMBERYOU looks capable of landing this decent prize for the track, while Lyes Green and Maletton are of particular interest. The selection looked to have a decent chance in the more valuable but similarly testing Eider Chase at Newcastle on Saturday. However, a blunder cost him his pilot at a relatively early stage and that was that. On the face of it he shouldn't have taken too much out of himself but he did keep going for the entire four miles and could be seen riderless upsides the winner as they crossed the line. With that in mind, plus what has clearly been a fair bit of travelling of late, there is a note of caution, but he stays well and acts with cut and we'll give him another chance. Maletton could give him most to do. The Venetia Williams inmate likes it here, acts on the ground, and is back on a very handy mark. He has to prove that he will last out this far, but if he does then he should be bang there. Apatura Dik was a 2m 5f winner here last time on his chasing debut and so is unexposed in this sphere. This is a big ask against seasoned handicappers and he has it all to prove as far as stamina is concerned. Lyes Green proved he can handle marathon trips when runner-up to Jass over 4m at Doncaster last time. Conditions again suit and he would be a short-priced favourite here had Jass put up a better effort when favourite for the Eider. There are stamina doubts over Enroblim Trop, but not so about New Perk who remains on a competitive mark and might even go off as market leader if this were at his beloved Fakenham. Pass Me A Dime is an interesting contender and he shapes as though this distance is within his compass, but we will side with Iwillrememberyou.
