In depth
Verdict
In the fillies' maiden, Altitude is selected ahead of Night Skier and Izzibizzi. Altitude comes right into it based on her second to Dusty Moon on Lingfield's all-weather surface last time and she can go well today. Izzibizzi's Newmarket run behind the very promising Laureldean Gale at Newmarket last time was promising and Harry Dunlop's In A Pickle has something to like on breeding. Lady Bower improved from run one to two to run fairly well at Kempton last time and should have more to come. A 50,000 guineas daughter of Captain Rio, Lyrical Symphony obviously gets a shout from among the debutantes, along with Henry Cecil's Winter Bloom. Finally, Night Skier is another that is improving and, given that she will not lack for experience, is another to give some serious thought to as the step up to seven furlongs today should suit. Overall, though, Altitude could prove to be the one to beat.
