        Verdict

        In the finale, Northern Jem is selected ahead of Monte Alto and Wise Little Girl. Noticeable has been highly tried in his last two races but, now rated just two pounds above his Goodwood win that preceded those efforts, he cannot be ruled out today. Northern Jem travelled well for a long way last time in a valuable event at Newmarket (Noticeable finished behind him there) and the ease in the going today will probably help things along. He should be considered. As should Monte Alto, who was only reeled in close home at Sandown last time when stepped up to today's trip for the first time and who remains competitive. Wise Little Girl looked capable of winning more races when landing her maiden at Lingfield last time so she should be given some thought, and, finally, Rudry Dragon might improve for the step up in trip today but, for the selection, we will stick with Northern Jem.
