Verdict

MORESTEAD finished well beaten behind Intac at Hereford last month but is only a pound higher than when a close-up second at Stratford the time before. A wide-margin winner over a shorter trip at this meeting last year, Brendan Powell's charge gets the nod today. Ballagio was a maiden over hurdles and hasn't shown a great deal over fences so far, while an inadequate trip and fast ground may both count against Breaking Silence who, along with Chevy To The Levy and Captain Crackers, also returnS from a break here. Tenzing makes his chasing debut but looks a very modest performer on the evidence so far.
