In depth
Verdict
A fair bit of dead-wood to sift through here but there was plenty to like about the effort Ben More put in at Ludlow in his latest start and he is confidently expected to account for the challenges represented by Thunder Canyon, Usk Valley and Pardon What, who are capable of winning a race of this nature, but have never been outstanding selections to rely upon in a finish. Therefore, Arden Hills, who ran a good race on his reappearance last month, is fancied to give the selection the most to do. However, as that effort came on the back of a long lay-off, Jimmy Frost's charge may be best limited to each-way support this afternoon. In contrast to Ben More, who would have gone close to winning in selling grade had he not been hampered last time. The step up in trip will not be a problem for Ben More today and he is readily preferred as the likeliest winner of a race that lacks any strength-in-depth like this.
