Kaparolo has been found a soft opportunity to add to his haul and should easily beat his three rivals, the best of whom may be Splash Out Again. This novices' hurdle has really cut up badly since the five-day stage, no doubt due to the forecast of fast ground, and so Kaparolo appears to have been left with a simple task. A winner over shorter here in October when opening his account over timber, Amanda Perrett's charge has run well in defeat on three subsequent starts, the latest of which saw him carry a penalty into third place at Folkestone despite the softish going. Today's faster conditions will not bother him, and the son of El Prado is worth a try over this longer trip. With Dark Thunder having shown little and Itsaboy making his debut, it should be left to Splash Out Again to give the selection most to do. However, Hughie Morrison's six-year-old also has a mountain to climb to make up the distance between them last time. All in all, Kaparolo is hard to oppose despite his short price.
