Verdict

With many of these not suited to quick ground it should pay to stick with Zero, Art Exhibition, Bolton Hall and PRO BELL with the vote going to the latter mentioned. Gary Moore is the tracks top trainer and it looks as if he got this horse handicapped to win a half decent prize. Running behind the likes of Oscar Whiskey and Lush Life he never really had a chance of beating those rivals but still showed up well on ground way softer than ideal. On his only start on proper quick ground he won nicely showing a nice attitude to win at Plumpton. I find that plenty of horse that run well at Plumpton run well at Fontwell so expect a nice price and maybe even a gamble. Zero is an interesting horse from the Emma Lavelle yard and has to monitored in a race of this nature. He disappointed on his latest start at Chepstow but had excuses. He is best judged on his run before that when winning very easily at Ascot. His current mark of 115 is very winnable off and is worth serious consideration here. Bolton Hall and Art Exhibition are others to note especially the latter as he looks well handicapped but the vote goes to Pro Bell just ahead of Zero.
