    Verdict

Bertenbar narrowly beat Withy Mills over track and trip last month but the runner-up may well reverse that form on 10lb better terms. The top weight had earlier been beaten out of sight behind MR BACHSTER (NAP) at Towcester and Kerry Lee's charge also thumped Treacy Hotels Boy here back in November. Reunited with winning rider Jamie Moore, he looks the one to beat today. Carobello doesn't look badly treated but hasn't raced since second at Ludlow in October.
