      In depth

      Verdict

It was no surprise to see NACHI FALLS (NAP) pop up at Newton Abbot last month. Despite a 6lb rise, he is still thrown in on his best form and Kieren Buckley takes off a further 7lb again. Fume is almost certainly better than he’s shown so far over hurdles but Southwell third Incredible Dream doesn’t have the same scope. Peltwell has placed in three of her five starts over timber but hasn’t raced since November and she would probably have preferred more give in the ground.
