    Verdict

Sumdancer and Bid Art are both previous C&D winners but the former's recent runs have left much to be desired and he would have finished a long way behind the latter had Jamie Snowden's charge not come to grief at Plumpton three weeks ago. Lepido is usually worth opposing while Kilvergan Boy has never looked happy over fences and Ede's can blow a little hot and cold, though does race off the same mark as when a close third over C&D last month. The booking of AP McCoy looks interesting for chasing newcomer HOME, however, who could be well handicapped and is taken to see off some disappointing rivals.
