Verdict
A wide-open handicap hurdle here and many would have chances on their best form, but the principals look to be Kalou, Cooling Castle and So Sure, with the vote going to Kalou. The selection won with plenty in hand last time out when defeating Sailor A 'Hoy and, although he is rising in the weights, he looks ahead of the handicapper and is taken to win again. Cooling Castle rates the main danger. He was a fair fifth behind Greensmith Lane last time and this looks easier and he should also be suited by this longer trip. So Sure is another that could go well. He was a fair fourth behind Friedhelmo last time and, if he is ridden with more restraint, he would have definite place claims. Of the remainder, Gianluca and Belcaro are from shrewd yards and are worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to Kalou.
