Verdict
Tarakala can take the prize back across the Irish Sea, with Kisses For Me, Selebela and Castagna expected to go well. Tarakala has been a model of consistency this season and has only been out of the first three once during her career. The John Oxx-trained filly had fellow Irish raider Kisses For Me behind when scoring at Cork earlier in the season and should have that one's measure again. Her ability to handle the ground is not in question and she gets the vote. Selebela has taken on good company this term and is another consistent sort, but the going is a negative, while Castagna is on the upgrade but lacks that bit of experience. One who does not is Polar Jem who is up to this class and, according to her trainer, acts like a soft-ground filly, at home at least. However, four-year-olds do not have a good record in this event, and we much prefer the claims of Tarakala in the opener.
