Mine can give Frankie Dettori another winner on the Knavesmire this week, with Polar Bear, Fantasy Believer and Play That Tune others to consider. Since landing the Royal Hunt Cup in June, Mine has continued to perform with credit and although he would not want the ground too soft, he does handle cut and brings a touch of class to the contest. One who will certainly not mind the ground is Polar Bear, a real mudlark who bolted up at Newcastle on his last outing. He could be up to Group class given the right conditions and the Willie Haggas inmate can reach the frame at least. Fantasy Believer was a beaten favourite when failing to land a ¿100,000 bonus here two days ago and is starting to feel the handicapper's grip, but with Kieren Fallon taking over in the plate there may be enough left in the tank for a decent try. Play That Tune has in the main been disappointing but is better treated now than when seventh in the Listed Hambleton Stakes here in May. She may be there or thereabouts until the business end when we expect Mine to stamp his authority
