Verdict
Old Marsh gets the confident vote to open his account, with Master T and Code Sign rating the main dangers. The selection travels well in his races but does not find much off the bridle. However, this is a poor race and a reproduction of his latest second behind Isard would make him hard to beat and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Master T rates the main danger. He was a fair second in a handicap chase behind Bernardon last time and this is easier but he lacks the scope of the selection and for that reason is opposed. Code Sign is another that could go well. He was a fair third behind Marrel last time and is sure to be suited by this shorter trip. However, he is a weak finisher so cannot be backed with any confidence. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Old Marsh.
