In depth
Verdict
Analogy was hugely impressive when stepped up in trip last time and he can win again at the main expense of Baron Windrush. The selection had run well the time before at the Cheltenham Festival so is clearly well regarded as well as being progressive. The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Baron Windrush comes here on the back of successive wins, and has looked very promising in the process. He is said to prefer going left-handed in his races so that is also a positive for him and he will make a bold bid to bring up his hat-trick. Nicky Henderson's Johann de Vonnas is surely better than he has so far shown, while the Paul Nicholls pair, Dusty Bandit and Classify, are others to consider, and Love Mail could be interesting at a big price, as she comes here fresh and looked fairly decent in the early part of her career.. True Lover and Fantastic Champion are others that warrant consideration but, overall, we are happy to side with Analogy.
