Verdict
Wild Ground is at the right end of the weights and may be able to land a contest that won't take much winning. French Direction and Norseman Cateline are others to bear in mind. French Direction has made the frame in slightly better contests the last twice and is respected but he may be ideally suited by shorter. Norseman Cateline is a longstanding maiden but he has made the frame on a few occasions and is entitled to come on for his latest start whilst his yard could be about to turn the corner. Wild Ground went close in a selling handicap chase over course and distance on her penultimate start before romping home over hurdles when stepped up to an extended 2 miles and 6. She may have more to offer after just 9 starts and is clearly on good terms with herself. Outclass is worth a market check on her chase bow but Wild Ground gets the vote.
