In depth

Verdict

Laguvulin is the pick in this race with Qrackers and Lit Et Mixe the dangers. Lagavulin stepped up markedly on all known form when finishing a close up second to Woolcombe Folly. Admittedly, he was in receipt of lumps of weight from that rival but with fast ground obtaining again, we take Emma Lavelle's charge to step on again. Qrackers does not look totally straight forward. He tailed off badly at Chepstow on his latest start. Lit Et Mixe is one of the top rated runners in the race. If he translates his soft ground form to fast - he has obvious place claims. Lady Traill wasn't great shakes on the level. That said, she has to be respected from a yard that definitely know the time of day. Musical Chairs has officially rated as 107. Red Admiral was a cast-off from the Godolphin outfit. Knocked down for just 18000gns, he has taken on better grade than this in the past. Abutilon is distinctly ordinary. Darksideofthemoon is from the family of high class chaser Travado. He hasn't quite set the world alight as yet. Laguvulin gets the nod.
