In depth
Verdict
the talented, but long-term absentee, North Of Kala. Willy Willy is weighted to go well at best but, curiously, all of his jump wins have come on right-handed tracks. Sharp Seal lacks toe but has a chance. Tarongo is entitled to improve on his Wincanton third, but it's doubtful if first-time blinkers will help Just Reuben to victory. Smetherds Tom seems to have regressed., while William Lionheart and Mill Lord are out of the weights, the latter by some way. Not a good race, as you might expect from a seller but, if retaining a modicum of ability and the market speaks in his favour, then North Of Kala could be the one.
