In depth
Verdict
A wide margin winner at Folkestone, Regal Holly is clearly on the upgrade. She stays well and will not mind the testing conditions, while chasing debutante Sea Ferry also goes well with plenty of give underfoot. Martin Pipe is represented by the disappointing Jean D'Auteuil, who has yet to prove he stays this far. Stormy Skye doesn't look one to rely on too heavily, so a chance is taken with Shardam, who lost nothing in defeat when beaten by Needwood Lion at Hereford, with this step up in trip very much in his favour here.
