Verdict
Beare Necessities may be the answer here, with High Hope, Ar Nos Na Gaoithe and Little Laurita all in with chances. A lot here will depend on fitness, and as Beare Necessities was produced to score at Plumpton in March after a 659-day absence, his subsequent break since then should not be a problem. He looked beaten until getting a second wind at the Sussex track, and if there is any more improvement, Martin Hogan will find it. High Hope was successful at Fontwell in April and has been kept busy on the Flat, so any support for Gary Moore's charge would be interesting, while Ar Nos Na Gaoithe makes her debut over hurdles after being off for over a year. Little Laurita was beaten 15-lengths by an odds-on chance at Newton Abbot, but it could have been further had the winner's jockey desired, so she is not one to rely on, and in what is a poor contest in truth, only a modest vote goes the way of Beare Necessities.
