In depth

Verdict

Winning bumper FINE BRUNELLO showed plenty of potential over timber before making his chasing bow at Killarney where he was closing on the leaders when falling 2 out. Providing he's none the worse he can make amends though Charlie Stout has shown up well in his last two starts over fences and jumped well at Killarney last time. Cats For Cash makes his debut over fences after a comfortable maiden victory over timber at Downpatrick but Fred The Foot looks a bigger threat. John McConnell's charge, a winning bumper and successful three times over hurdles, ran a fine race on his chasing debut at Wexford in July and with the benefit of that experience should get competitive. Stormey ran his best ever race over fences when runner-up at the Festival but is better over hurdles.
