Verdict
Slippery Serpent and Melly And Me both return after a very long absence but have shown potential and the market could offer some clues as to their fitness. BOLD EMPEROR hasn't won since March 2017 but he returned from a lay-off with a fine effort at Fairyhouse a couple of weeks ago and should make a bold bid to go one better. Jiving Jerry landed a Killarney handicap in August and was racing from 7lb higher when runner-up at Fairyhouse last time so has to be considered. Uisce Solas landed a Clonmel maiden on heavy ground in January and her next start was in a Grade B handicap at Leopardstown so she'll find this less daunting.
