Verdict

Dessie Hughes has won this twice in the past five years and DEFINITE CLASS is fancied to make it three. He's been making very good progress and scored on the Flat last month before just touched off in a very strong novices' contest at Killarney. Devil's Elbow is another improver who gained a comfortable success at Limerick where he jumped particularly well and Pride Of The Artic was having only his third start over fences when making most at Down Royal and should lead these a merry dance. Finger Onthe Pulse won the Plate here in 2010 and is still in tomorrow's spectacular. He was feeling the pinch in much higher class than this over the winter but a recent run over hurdles will have put him straight. This is Cooldine's first appearance at the Festival but the former RSA Chase winner has lost his way in his most recent starts.
