Verdict

Macgiloney was having only his second start over fences when beating Doctor Duffy at Roscommon and the three-times winning hurdler looks a fine prospect for the bigger obstacles. Mighty Stowaway was racing in point-to-points last winter, winning three times while Bay Hill has won eleven races in his career including over fences at Wexford. Mindsmadeup is 1-17 over fences but arrives in winning form having scored over hurdles at Kilbeggan. Turbo hadn't shown much over hurdles or fences before a spectacular victory over the bigger obstacles on the latter track for which he's been raised 10lb. GUNFIRE REEF scored over fences at Tipperary then took advantage of a lower hurdles mark with a facile success in a Limerick handicap where he sauntered home 46 lengths clear. He can complete a hat-trick though Portmore Lough won twice around here in October and Woodbrook Boy was having only his fourth start over fences when scoring with something in hand at Tramore.
