In depth
Verdict
Willie Mullins' Fan De Blues was engaged in the 6.45 here yesterday so that result should be monitored. Rasiym had been in decent form on the Flat before giving the in-form Moonball 10lb and a 4 length beating at Kilbeggan and though 10lb higher has to be on the shortlist. Bentham had no problems losing his maiden tag at Bellewstown after beaten 2 lengths by today's rival Filon D'Oudairies at Limerick. He's 4lb better off here but his year-younger rival may have the edge again. Ardamir has gone up 7lb for landing a competitive handicap at Bellewstown which looks fair enough while Gowran maiden winner Future Proof had a spin on the Flat at the Curragh on Sunday. The latter had finished 4 lengths behind SHUMAKER on heavy ground at Fairyhouse in January and the winner has been in excellent form on the Flat, completing a double in the last few days, and looks the one to beat back over timber. Goodbye Someday looked an improved performer when scoring easily at Tramore and is another to consider.
