Verdict
ASPECTOFLOVE came off much the worse when clashing with Ahla Wasahl last September but can reverse the form here; Shamwari Lodge, Hafawa and Super Sleuth look like the best of the rest. Godolphin's horses have been in good form from both of their UK bases in the early stage of this season, and this Danetime filly herself looked in good nick in two runs over in Dubai this winter. She was a Listed winner for John Oxx when trained over in Ireland and she should run well despite her penalty. Extra weight to carry is something that both Shamwari Lodge and Ahla Wasahl will have to contend with. The former wasn't beaten too far in the Rosemerry Stakes that the latter won in September and with a pull in the weights there shouldn't be much between them today. The German recruit All Annalena is an unknown but cannot be backed unless the market squeals in her favour, so bigger dangers look to be the dropping-in-grade Super Sleuth and the unexposed Hafawa. The latter has only had four lifetime starts but she is nicely-bred and her fifth to Music Show in the Nell Gwynn suggests she can cut it at this level with the step up in trip in her favour. An open contest, but some nice fillies on show, and of the lot it is Aspectoflove who is tentatively selected.
