Verdict
Golden Flame ran well without threatening in the Chesham at Ascot and should go close back on a faster surface today. But TITIAN finished in front of Dingle when fourth at Newmarket on his debut and the winner went on to place in the Vintage Stakes here earlier in the week. He gets the vote on that form though Forever Forward is another to consider on his debut second at Sandown and is preferred to Longlai, second of only four runners at Doncaster last month. Titan Rock showed some ability in soft ground at Haydock while Charlie Hills won this with a newcomer last year and Il Bandito is preferred to Tasfeeq of the debutants.
