In depth

Archie Watson is still firing in the winners and Ocean Star travels up from Lambourn off the back of a second at Chepstow but BLOWING WIND ran a nice race at Ripon, considering he completed with only three shoes, and can put that experience to good use here. Conspiracy is almost certainly much better than he showed when poorly drawn at Beverley and looks the pick of the remainder

Blowing Wind (IRE) 11-2 (9-5) Dwelt and switched left start, in touch, pushed along and headway over 1f out, stayed on, 4th of 14, 7 3/4l behind Ataser (9-1) at Ripon 6f mdn stks (5) gd in Jul.

Hafeet Star Sepoy colt out of Morant Bay.

Conspiracy 4-1 (9-3) Raced wide prominent, pushed along 2f out, weakened final furlong, 9th of 11, 12 3/4l behind Country Carnival (9-0) at Beverley 5f stks (5) gd in Jun.

Otto Oyl Mayson colt out of Olive Mary.

Out The Hat 16-1 (9-5) Slowly away, outpaced, pushed along over 1f out, kept on final furlong, nearest finish, 5th of 8, 5 1/2l behind Ben Macdui (9-5) at Hamilton 5f stks (5) gd in Jul.

Ocean Star (IRE) 10-3 (9-0) Chased leaders, bumped after 1f, soon pushed along, went 2nd over 1f out, no chance with winner, 2nd of 12, 6l behind Time Scale (9-0) at Chepstow 6f mdn fll stks (5) gs in Jun.
