      Verdict

      SWORD OF THE LORD only had two rivals to beat at Ffos Las on Friday but ploughed through the mud for a convincing victory. He comes here with a penalty but will be difficult to beat. Tilstarr doesn't win often but her only victory on Turf came on soft ground at Brighton from today's mark. Galuppi has never won in 13 starts and is poorly handicapped compared to his all-weather rating while Ruzeiz, a winner on soft going in France, has been inconsistent since joining Peter Hedger. The veteran Salient usually runs on Polytrack at Lingfield these days but performed with credit the last time he was here though that was over a longer trip.
