Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute has won the last three renewals and will be hoping for a similar performance from last year’s winner MIRAGE DANCER. He landed this by over three lengths and arrives on the back of finishing runner-up in the Group 2 Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at Newmarket last time ahead of both Desert Encounter and Baghdad. David Simcock’s charge has the best form of the latter pair but will do well to reverse running with the likely strong favourite. Prince Of Arran wasn’t far behind Desert Encounter at Meydan earlier this year but Aquarium looks up against it on these terms.
