Verdict
Threeandfourpence had been racing at the highest level before a confidence-booster at Naas last week and has a fair chance of a quick double. Regal Reality, a maiden winner at Yarmouth on soft ground, was in need of the run in a Sandown Listed contest at Sandown in May and will know more here but this can go to the progressive OSTILLO. He had just over a length to spare when beating Curiosity in the Britannia Handicap at Ascot and can confirm the form on 3lb worse terms. Threading easily landed a Listed contest at York before runner-up to Alpha Centauri in the Coronation Stakes and something must have been amiss when she was beaten a long way behind that winner in the Falmouth. Glorious Journey, unbeaten as a two-year-old, finished a very close third in a Group 3 in France in May in-between two disappointing runs.
