In depth

Verdict

Some potentially nice fillies on show here but none more so than La Coveta who could turn out to be very well handicapped. Albaraari has to be feared now that her powerful stable has got into its stride. The selection was beaten 10 lengths in a Warwick maiden on debut which didn't bode that well for the future but there was plenty to like about her win at Headquarters. The second is now a leading fancy for the Oaks following a convincing win on her seasonal return whilst the third and fifth have gone on to win races too. Her yard has been amongst the winners of late and she should do well at this trip and beyond this season if she's progressed through the winter. Albaraari was another to leave her debut form behind on her second start and the manner in which she landed her maiden suggested that there should be plenty more to come from her in due course. The market should help point to their chances on their seasonal returns and to the chances of the others. Dusty Moon looked good on debut last year and has the benefit of a run but we'll take La Coveta to make her return a winning one.
