The Hannon and Hughes team won last year's renewal and Free Verse has strong claims dropping back in trip as she finished a close-up third over C&D last August. Vocational should also be thereabouts taking a drop in class while there should be more to come from winning three-year-olds Fair Value and Bless You this season. Recent Ascot winner Moretta Blanche is more exposed and HALLELUJAH is preferred, as though she lost her unbeaten record by only a length when runner-up at Ripon last month, James Fanshawe's filly still has plenty of scope for improvement.
